See How Secondary School Student Killed Her Own Baby in Kaduna

A young secondary school student has
given residents the shock of their lives
when she killed her own baby in Kaduna
state.
A student of the Federal Government Girls
College, Malali, Kaduna state on Wednesday
murdered her own new born baby.
According to Daily Trust, the student
attempted to throw the baby over the
school fence, but the corpse got caught on
the fence by the female hostel.
Confirming the incident, Police
spokesperson, DSP Zubairu Abubakar said
one Ummu-Salam Umar; an SS1 student
has been arrested in connection with the
crime.
He said, “At about 1.15pm, the Vice
Principal of FGGC, Malali, Mrs. Obianwuzia
reported at the station that the corpse of a
new born baby suspected to have been
delivered by a student wrapped in a white
cloth was thrown over the school fence.
“The corpse of the baby was left dangling
on the school fence until the police came
and removed it. After taking picture of the
scene, it has been deposited at the
mortuary .”
He however noted that investigation has
commenced into the matter.
